Il Sibilo Lungo della Taranta, a documentary film made in 2005, explores the origins of the tarantella, and bears witness to its revival in a modern form. In order to make this film, filmmaker Paolo Pisanelli traveled to the towns of the "Greek Salento" an area of central Puglia in the heel of the boot of Southern Italy to a place where the traditions have never died and are in fact experiencing a marvelous rebirth.
Town information- The market town of Beverley - East Riding of Yorkshire with its estimated urban population of 29 110 inhabitants, is located between Westwood and River Hull in the Yorkshire and the Humber regions in England in Sovereign State of the United Kingdom. Originally founded by Saint John of Beverley under the name Inderawuda, the town served primarily a pit stop for pilgrims to rest over during long and tiresome journey's. The towns' power shifted from Viking to Saxon control with very little effort.
